Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of Speech Connect, a desktop application and related website from Adeptimus.
License
Adeptimus grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Speech Connect for lawful personal, educational, or internal business purposes.
Your content
You are responsible for the audio, text, transcripts, summaries, cards, voice references, and other content you import, create, save, or share using Speech Connect.
Voice and audio rules
You may only clone, imitate, or reference voices that you own or have permission to use. You may not use Speech Connect to impersonate someone, mislead people, violate rights of publicity or privacy, or create unlawful, harmful, abusive, or deceptive audio.
AI outputs
Speech Connect may generate transcripts, summaries, study cards, answers, or audio. AI-generated output can be inaccurate. Review important content before relying on it, especially for health, legal, safety, financial, educational, or accessibility decisions.
Supported recording pens
Pen assignment features are intended for compatible recording pens and sticker workflows. Adeptimus does not guarantee compatibility with every device, firmware version, sticker, or audio file.
Restrictions
You may not reverse engineer hosted services, bypass limits, attack the gateway, upload malware, use the app for unlawful surveillance, or use the product in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.
No warranties
Speech Connect is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adeptimus disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Adeptimus will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or business interruption.
